Alliteration Worksheet 1

By | October 10, 2026

Alliteration is the repetition of the same beginning sound in two or more words that are close together in a sentence. It makes words sound interesting and fun to read.

Example: Silly Sally sings a song.
The words Silly, Sally, sings, and song begin with the same /s/ sound.

Directions: Read each sentence carefully. Put a ✓ if the sentence uses alliteration and an ✗ if it does not.
