What is a Word Family?
Word Family is a group of words with common feature or pattern. They have almost the same letter combination, similar sound and a useful tool in reading and spelling.
Here are some word family chart with long /o/ vowel sound words. A long /o/ vowel is a vowel sound that is pronounced the same way as the name of the letter itself. Included in the list are words with -ose, -old, -oke, -one ending.
Word Family with -ose ending:
nose, pose, rose, dose, chose, close, those, prose
Word Family with -old ending:

Word Family with -oke ending:
